The Medications module allows you to enter your own frequently used medications into a picklist. The same medications entered can later be used to effectively complete the Medications section of the 485 (field 10). The same medication used on the 485 can be used to print a Medications Sheet that can be handed to a patient outlining any special instructions and/or side effects.

Some of the advantages of this option are:

- Medications are typed in only once in the picklist. Saving time

- Medications are typed in correctly from the first time in the picklist. Correctness

- No typing on the 485. Even the (N) for New or (C) for changed medications is automatically padded into field 10

- With no additional effort, you can print the Medications Sheet for each patient

- Ability to capture and print the Special Instructions and/or Side effects for each patient
